Create your Songfinch audition song

Songfinch handles all quality control up-front to ensure that we are always delivering the best songs to our customers. Audition songs showcase each artist’s recording quality and musical skills, to determine if we’d be a good fit to work together.

They will also act as your first example song on your Songfinch profile and our artist search, so please make sure they represent your best effort. A strong audition song directly leads to increased song opportunities.

Important audition song tips & advice

• If “Mention Recipient” is yes, work their name in the lyrics

• If “Mention Occasion” is yes, work the occasion in the lyrics

• Keep the moods in mind and build the instrumentation and lyrical content around them

• Our verses are minimum 8 lines of lyrics

• Record the song on the same setup that you will use for your future Songfinch songs

2. Record a verse and chorus only (a full song is not needed)

3. Submit your audition song via the portal

4. We will review your submission and be in touch via email with the next steps
