**Your relationship story**

June 2011 – we met at C-sides bar through some friends. He made my heart skip a beat while wearing his Pantera hoodie.  The next evening he sent me a friend request on Instagram. We spent the next few days speaking until very late every night. Our first date was at a Megadeth concert and we both jumped into the mosh pit! He held my hand and made sure I was safe the whole time, we definitely got beer all over us and it was a blast. Within 7 months, we were engaged and got hitched in a little chapel in Las Vegas, just like my parents. It’s been ten years of fun, wild times, dogs, kids, concerts, and cuddles. 


**Favorite things to do together**

Sipping on cold brews or McDonald's smoothies on our numerous pre-pandemic dates

Getting matching tattoos of our dog Lucy together (before we had kids)

Going to pizza nap (our fav restaurant) 

I love staring into his baby blue eyes at night before we sleep 

We have a tradition called the mean chili cookoff where we try to make each other (and our family) the spiciest chili possible! Whoever wins gets a giant buffet dinner in their honor.


**What they mean to you**

Johnny means the world to me. He has a tough, (leather-clad biker) exterior most of the time but he is soft as a teddy bear inside and an amazing dad! 

He loves our three boys and we’ve all gone on numerous hiking trips across the American southwest.

He works hard on an oil rig so we don’t get to see him all the time, but when we do we have his undivided attention and we are so grateful for how he provides for the family. I love him so much
