ABOUT OUR ONE-STOP SMALL BUSINESS LICENSE TERMS
We understand how difficult it can be to understand music rights and what’s included when licensing songs. We’ve made a custom one-stop small business custom song license that is super user-friendly and easy to understand.
All our small business licenses include:
One-time flat fee for the creation and extended rights of the song to use alongside your brand.
“In Perpetuity” terms so you’ll never need to renew the license. You are free to use it forever.
Friendly media terms to ensure that your custom song can grow with your business and production. Our one-stop small business license includes all media types outside of broadcast. You can use it on social media, live events, and more. TV Broadcast is available upon request at an additional fee.

Our $199.99 custom song that we offer on our website includes a personal use license which prohibits them from being used to represent a business, production, or organization. To use them for such, you will need a license with extended usage rights, which is what this offering includes.

For business song creation, we include two rounds of revisions at no additional cost after purchasing an extended license. With this in mind, we work to iron everything out before we get the production process started to make sure our artist has everything they need to hit the mark on the first pass.

Our small business custom song licenses include all media types minus broadcast. So you can use it on social media, live events, etc. Broadast is available for an additional fee.
The only restriction is you cannot sell it or put it on streaming platforms without additional rights and permission from the artist.

Yes! All our small business licenses include “In Perpetuity” terms so you are free to use your song in connection with your business or production forever without having to renew the license.

Our songs do not come with a transfer of ownership as it remains with the artist that creates the song. However, you will receive extended rights allowing you to use the song in your production and associate it with your brand or project.
If you’re interested in owning the song, we would be happy to coordinate that with your artist and provide pricing for you. Full song buyout rates are subject to artist approval and at that time, will be negotiable between you and Songfinch.

You can absolutely use your own written song lyrics for your song. Even if you provide pre-written lyrics, our songs do not come with a transfer of ownership as it remains with the artist that creates the song. However, you will receive extended rights allowing you to use the song in your production and associate it with your brand or project.
If you’re interested in owning the song’s rights, that would be considered a buyout of the song. If interested, we would be happy to coordinate that with your artist and provide pricing for you. Full song buyout rates are subject to artist approval and at that time, will be negotiable between you and Songfinch.
Important: All submitted lyrics have to be created and owned by you. We do not make covers, paradies or songs that are not controlled 100% by you as there will need to be rights clearance prior.

Unless the song is a full buyout, which incurs additional fees for rights transfer, you are not able to create alternate versions or remixes of the song. Based on your intended usage and distribution plan, we will be happy coordinate with our artist to determine if they are comfortable clearing the song for re-creation by other artists.
