I want to give MY GIRLFRIEND a song for VALENTINE'S DAY that will make HER FEEL LOVED AND SMILE.
Mood: Romantic, Happy
I met her at a bar in Wicker Park in early December of 2015. From the first time I met her, we had an instant connection - I can't really put into words what that was, but we've both discussed it and agree something was there from the start.
Since then, she has evolved into my best, closest friend I've ever had.
We constantly laugh with/at one another joking about how weird we appear to others. She makes me genuinely happy, which I never realized I was missing until she came into my life.
She is loving, caring, and genuinely kind-hearted. Whenever I am sad, cranky, moody, etc., she can see through that and make me smile and laugh immediately.
She is compassionate, adventurous, and fiercely loyal to those around her. She is independent and not inclined to "follow the crowd", but rather, what is important to her, for her reasons.
We enjoy traveling the world together and are constantly planning our next adventure. We've hiked mountains together; we've jumped out of an airplane together (to tackle both her fear of flying and of heights, mind you!).
She is not materialistic at all and does not care for nor enjoy gifts such as jewelry, possessions, etc. I know, with all my heart, that a song just for her would make the perfect gift and bring a smile (and hopefully, maybe some tears) to her face!
I want to give MY WIFE a song for VALENTINE'S DAY that will make HER CRY HAPPY TEARS.
Mood: Romantic, Happy
We met on a blind date in Chicago at an Italian restaurant called Tony's. We clicked right away and things just seemed natural.
We bought an apt together, then our dog Mac. Got married in Madison where we had both gone to college (never knew each other at school). Kate spent 5 years transitioning from teacher to a nurse, including lots of grad school. Along the way we had a daughter, Steph and two sons, Pat and William.
Kate was a division I college distance runner and also completed 5 marathons. She feels way to slow these days but still kicks my ass at running. Any athleticism our kids display is from her genes.
She loves sweets, especially chocolate chip cookies and trader joes choc covered peanut butter pretzels.
She loves to dance and can do the moonwalk pretty well.
Some of our favorite trips are taking a cruise to the Carribbean when we were still dating, our wedding in Chile (still the best party we've ever been to), our honeymoon to Spain, Vegas for a weekend and several smaller trips without the kids.
Best memories - green tie ball , night we got engaged, finding out she was pregnant, the birth of our children and being parents.
Kate is extremely loyal, strong, funny, passionate about women's health and our family. She is a great friend to have and my best friend. I wish she would watch more tv/movies with me but ever since kids, she has shied away from drama, horror and any entertainment that includes murder or untimely death.
